Published sones are measured under controlled conditions. Duct length, elbows, grille restriction, and installation quality can make the real result noticeably louder.

Is 80, 100, or 110 CFM right for my bathroom?

Start near 1 CFM per square foot for typical rooms, then account for high ceilings, enclosed fixtures, long ducts, and actual pressure.

Can I replace an old fan from below?
